Built in 2004, the custom stone and stucco ranch sits on a 10-acre estate elevated 620 feet on Short Hill Mountain and offers more than 5,600 square feet allocated to the B&B with 5,000 square feet on the main level.
Inside are beautifully-appointed guest rooms and comfortable common areas offering something for everyone. Outside our property is landscaped with gardens, stone rock walls, fountains, patio terraces, an outdoor kitchen, in-ground pool and several serene hideaway spaces for guests to relax and enjoy their stay.

About Our Breakfast
Choose a Unique Sweet or Savory Breakfast
At our Northern Virginia Inn, we take great pride in preparing a unique and unexpected two-course plated breakfast for our overnight guests that alternate between sweet and savory dishes.
The breakfast service starts at 9 am. Come, sit at one of the private tables for two in the great room or join your friends at the communal table in the main dining room for larger groups.
Your morning breakfast always starts with a refreshing appetizer utilizing seasonal fruits, followed by one of our freshly prepared homemade entrees served with a side dish.
Beverages
- Freshly-brewed coffee, tea, and orange juice are available during breakfast service
- A Keurig machine offering multiple coffees and tea is available 24-hours a day
- Complimentary juice, water, and soda are also available in the kitchen

With advanced notice, we are happy to make accommodations for any dietary restrictions, allergies, avoidances, or dislikes. If you can’t join us for breakfast due to travel arrangements or other appointments, be sure to tell us in advance. We will be happy to prepare something to take along with you.

In 2014, during one of our weekend get-a-ways to a favorite winery near the mountains, we had a conversation about: what we would do as a career if money wasn’t a factor. Since Ray loves being outdoors with nature and is great with plants he mentioned that he would love to learn how to run a vineyard… going wine-ing probably helped to form that thought.
